Safety & Security

There is a wide range of alarms that can make a carer’s role less stressful. These include intercoms, fall alarms, movement monitors, wandering alarms and hypothermia alarms.

From time to time the person for whom you are caring may have to be left by themselves. A personal alarm will give everyone concerned piece of mind and the reassurance that help is on hand if needs be.

Different types of personal alarm systems are available, from pull cords that activate a flashing light outside the house, to autodialler alarms that are connected via the telephone line to a 24 hour monitoring station. Autodialler alarms can be worn as a pendant around the neck or as a wristband.
